You know you’re a NATIVE Colorado girl when: you can wear shorts outside in the 20-degree “crisp” morning and not have it bother you. HEE….That’s me. But only because, shorts were the only thing that I could find this morning to wear because I haven’t unpacked my clothes yet. I got some pretty funny looks from people at the gas station while standing in line to pay for my 24 oz cup of coffee (because I couldn’t find the damn coffee pot!). “They” were are all wearing large snow jackets, gloves, scarf’s, and “jeans”. (”all” of you people are wusses!)
I’m wishing that I had my lazy morning today. I wish that I didn’t have to sit here in an empty house that only has a computer in it (because comcast won’t be out to the new place until Thursday….bastards!) Instead for the next few days I will be coming to the “old” house to post something quick, clean like a mad woman, head back to the “new” house to take out the dogs, unpack a few things, and resume my day of picking up the kids, trying to figure out what I’m going to fix for dinner (finding those pans that I need to fix the dinner with), and other busy shit. Don’t you feel sorry for me yet?
Last night while “we” were getting ready to call it a night, I asked AF if it was okay that I put my “things” on the left side of the bathroom sinks. He looked at me with a knowing look. I said, “What?” Is it okay?” He started laughing and said, “Love, the bathroom isn’t mine, you can have both sinks if you need them.” AHHHHH (how sweet!)…..but, then I’m thinking he will wish that he had never said that statement when I have my “delicates” soaking in both sinks!”

HASAY….hmmmm….well, I lifted a bunch of shit over the past few days. That counts right? Beds, couches, desks, dressers, a million boxes….Yeah, that all counts. Walking, nope. Diet, nope. Had pizza the past two days for dinner. And hamburgers for lunch. It’s a diet….a fast food diet. I’ll be paying for that later! So, each time I took another slice of pizza and popped open another cold beer this song went through my mind:

I like big butts and I cannot lie. Great, now I’m gonna be singing that song in my head all. day. long. I’m not envying your move, the process sucks, but the end result will be great. Yeah, lifting furniture counts. Totally. Baby got back.

I didn’t even play the song and I have the song in my head. Dammit.
I’m sure all that pizza was fueling your lifting.

What are you going to do, you know? When you move, it’s always hard to eat right, so just cut yourself some slack & find those pans–quick!

I guess moving boxes counts as exercise and since you don’t have your kitchen unpacked, you can’t really be expected to cook healthy food options. As soon as you’re unpacked, it’s a different story. I’m laughing at the fact that you’re going to the old house to blog. That’s something I would probably do.
